I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, and for as long as I can remember, I dreamed of helping people feel better. Back then, I didn’t know anything about acupuncture or needle therapy — I just knew I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives.

As a teenager, I faced my own health challenges, which led me to receive acupuncture for the first time as a patient. That experience completely transformed how I viewed health and healing. Inspired by that shift, I decided to pursue acupuncture as a career. After graduating from college during the height of the 2008 recession, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in graduate school to become an acupuncturist. I completed my degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2013 and have been practicing ever since.

My career began under the mentorship of one of my professors at a busy clinic in Edina. About eight years ago, I joined a major local healthcare group, where I had the privilege of serving patients River Falls. I was thrilled to return to a community I’ve loved since childhood.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the organization decided to discontinue acupuncture services at their River Falls location. Since then, I’ve been dreaming of ways to bring this care back to the community.

Now, with my youngest child starting school, I finally have the opportunity — and the courage — to take that leap. Opening this practice is the fulfillment of a long-held dream, and I’m deeply grateful to share it with you. Thank you for being part of this next chapter.
